6 Steps To Enjoy A Successful Week With Less Effort
March 20, 2017
These days so many women are all about the grind, the hustle. Our plates are overloaded and we welcome 24 hours of work to an 8 hour schedule. There is an easier way. You can enjoy your week, reach your goals, and feel your feet on the ground at the same time. Use these 7 steps to empower yourself to have the successful week you want with less effort.
1. Decide what success is to you this week.
Is it not running late for work? Is it closing a sale? Is it sitting down for dinner with your family every night? Be very clear with what you want to accomplish. Setting your intentions and your actions in line with what you truly want will ultimately give you the results you desire.
2. Get realistic with your goals.
If something takes 8 hours and you only have 2 hours to dedicate to it, break it down over the next few weeks. In doing so you are approaching the goal with a clear mind and without stress or worry. Doing so will help you engage more in the process and can give you a fresh perspective that often times gets lost in the rush of trying to do more than you are able to.
3. Use 15 minutes this week to delegate.
We just can't do it all and I don't think we should want to. We all have strengths that we bring to life. Focus on the ones you have and use others for the ones you don't have. Maybe housekeeping isn't your thing - let someone else do it that loves to do it. (they are out there) I love writing. I don't like all of the technical aspects of sharing my writing - i.e. updating my website. I have other people who are really good at those things do it for me. This will allow you to focus more on what you are good at and what you enjoy - which contributes to a really enjoyable week.
4. Be sure to cover every area.
You are the common denominator for everything on your plate this week. Be sure to schedule time with your family and friends and maintaining your home. There is more to life than work. When every area is covered there is no one area screaming for attention. You are able to bring your best to the table of life.
5. Visualize the success of your week every day.
Take a few minutes every morning to think about how you desire your week to flow and celebrate your accomplishments from day to day. This practice will help you to tap into your creativity more and keep you focused on what's in front of you.
6. Be purpose focused.
Take your time and engage in each aspect of your schedule. Every move you make in life is an exchange. Take the time to participate in it. You bring your time, talents and authenticity to your day and the exchange is the physical manifestation of what you've sown. If you come with fear, you will manifest what you fear. If you come with confidence - the thing you are confident in is what will produce. If you waiver be prepared to receive nothing - you haven't decided what you want.
