Last night I had one of the best coaching calls I believe I've ever had. I was sharing my story of how I was able to go from $11.00/hr to a 6 figure salary. At the core of my story is this one lesson: Raising your standards will absolutely upgrade your life. Be it personally or professionally, you will see a change.
The things we are able to make happen are a direct reflection of what we have accepted for ourselves internally.
Whenever I feel a need for change in my personal life and in my business, I assess where I am and consider where I can upgrade my thinking or do things differently. There is an experience, an exchange that happens when we swap things that keep us comfortable for things that require us to live with more courage and more confidence.
When I decided that I wanted to coach, I wanted to work from home and set my own hours. I wanted to make enough money to live a lifestyle where I could travel and do more for myself and my family. I realized some things had to change. Working from home requires a greater level of discipline. There's no one standing at your desk making sure you are doing the necessary work for your business to bring in the money you desire to make.
There were many people I could not take along with me on this journey. Some people were not comfortable with my new mindset but, it was necessary for me to move into this new way of life. I was okay with that. While I had to leave some relationships behind, I gained new ones that took me by the hand and helped me to achieve things I had only dreamed of previously.
My question to you is: Where are you willing to raise your standards to achieve the change that is important to you? Be sure to share on my blog below. Your heart centered answer could be the door opener for someone else trying to answer that very same question. You got this and God has your back.
